Pastoral Visit of John Paul II to France

VATICAN CITY, JUL 15, 1996 (VIS) - The Holy See Press Office made public today the first details on the pastoral visit of John Paul II to France September 19- 22.

The Pope will leave Rome at 8:30 a.m. on September 19 and arrive in Tours two hours later. That same day he will travel to St. Laurent-sur-Sevre. On September 20 he will go to Lorient and from there to St. Anne-d'Auray, returning to Tours at the end of the day. The Holy Father will spend September 21 in Tours, and on September 22 will visit Reims, returning to Rome at 9:25 p.m.
