Chronology of Catholic Dioceses:Notes on the Diocese of Muzaffarpur, 1980-1983

The Indian diocese of Muzaffarpur was detached from the diocese of Patna in 1980. The Diocese of Patna retained all of Nepal, but in fact, the diocese of Muzaffarpur was entrusted with the administration of the Catholic church in Nepal from 1980, until Nepal was made into a Mission "sui iuris" in 1983.
