TORONTO, JULY 18, 2002 (Zenit.org).- Canada's Catholic Radio has launched a Web site for the July 23-28 World Youth Day.
Catholic Radio will produce a radio program in English and offer "highlights of the Pope's visit" during these hours: Tuesday, Friday and Sunday, 9-10 p.m., and Thursday, 9 p.m.-midnight.
The Web site is at www.ksmradio.com/eng/wyd2002/index.html.
"Around the clock, everyday coverage of World Youth Day will be accessible on our Web site through live streaming video and audio lines," Catholic Radio said in a statement.
The site "also contains archives of audio and text interviews with a variety of people," including Basilian Father Tom Rosica, director of the Canadian organizing committee; Cardinal James Stafford, president of the Pontifical Council for the Laity; and young participants of the walking pilgrimage from Montreal to Toronto.
Catholic Radio also offers information on the history of World Youth Day, messages of the Holy Father, a photo gallery, testimonies, and details about Downsview Park, site of the papal Mass.
Other media can use the Web site material for their own purposes, but they must credit Catholic Radio.
